Originally based in Coventry, Peirsons has been a stalwart of the Midlands business community for over a century, later moving to Market Harborough to better serve its clients. In 1918, Edward Thomas Peirson received a prestigious honour from the Mayor of Coventry, under the corporate seal of the city, in recognition of his remarkable 43 years of service as an auditor. This document, now proudly displayed in our office, symbolises more than just a certificate of recognition; it represents Peirson’s long-standing commitment to the city of Coventry and its business community.
Another proud moment in our history came in 1915, when we received a personal letter of thanks from Buckingham Palace, recognising his tireless work in auditing the Soldiers and Sailors Families Association during a time of national crisis. The Prince of Wales expressed his profound gratitude for Edward’s efforts, acknowledging the extraordinary nature of the audit and the selfless service it represented.
